Kfar Vradim is a picturesque town in Israel’s Western Galilee, situated just south of Ma’alot-Tarshiha. It was founded in 1984, and its founder, industrialist Stef Wertheimer, envisioned a community that combined residential living with industrial development amid the natural beauty of the Galilee. The town has a population of about 5,500 residents. Kfar Vradim is widely regarded as one of the most desirable places to live in northern Israel, known for its high quality of life, excellent schools, and strong sense of community.

Public transportation in Kfar Vradim is limited, as is typical for a small Galilee town, but there are some options: The town is served by several bus lines, with the nearest stop, Chativat Binyamin/Tavor, only about a 3-minute walk from the town center. Buses run from roughly 5:20 AM to 11:00 PM. The most useful connection is a direct weekday route (line 49) to Nahariya, while other lines link Kfar Vradim to Ma’alot-Tarshiha, Karmiel, and nearby communities — offering connections to Haifa and other regional hubs. Within Kfar Vradim there is a pilot program of local electric eco-friendly buses called Kfarbus with 31 stops within the community.
