Position Summary:<\/strong>
\nWe are seeking a highly motivated professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and achieving ambitious fundraising goals for expanding philanthropic support for the Jerusalem College of Technology (JCT) by cultivating relationships with Israeli donors, alumni, foundations, and corporate partners. This individual will develop and execute strategies to increase scholarship funding, identify and pursue grant opportunities, and build a sustainable pipeline of philanthropic support aligned with JCT’s mission and strategic priorities.<\/p>\n

This individual would serve as no.2 under the Head of Partnerships.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong>
\nFundraising and Donor Development<\/span>
\n\u2022 Develop and implement strategies to grow philanthropic support from Israeli individual donors and alumni.
\n\u2022 Build and manage a pipeline of prospective donors through research, networking, outreach, and relationship cultivation.
\n\u2022 Solicit and steward gifts for scholarships, academic programs, and institutional priorities.
\n\u2022 Help organize donor meetings, campus visits, and engagement opportunities.
\n\u2022 Maintain regular communication with donors to strengthen long-term relationships and encourage continued support.
\nGrant Development<\/span>
\n\u2022 Research and identify funding opportunities from Israeli foundations, government agencies, and corporate giving programs.
\n\u2022 Prepare compelling grant proposals and supporting materials in collaboration with faculty and administrative leadership.
\n\u2022 Manage grant submission timelines and reporting requirements.
\n\u2022 Monitor funding opportunities and recommend new initiatives aligned with institutional priorities.
\nPartnerships Research<\/span>
\n\u2022 Research corporate partners and philanthropic organizations that support higher education, technology, innovation, and workforce development.
\n\u2022 Identify opportunities for sponsorships, scholarships, and strategic collaborations.<\/p>\n

Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
\n\u2022 Minimum of 3\u20135 years of experience in fundraising, business development, sales, partnerships, or relationship management.
\n\u2022 Demonstrated success in cultivating relationships and securing financial support or business opportunities.
\n\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
\n\u2022 Strong organizational and project management skills.
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
\n\u2022 Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor management\/CRM systems.
\n\u2022 Comfortable working in a religious college environment
\n\u2022 This is a mostly in-house position in Jerusalem<\/p>\n

Preferred Qualifications<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Experience in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or philanthropy.
\n\u2022 Familiarity with the Israeli philanthropic landscape and grant-making foundations.
\n\u2022 Experience preparing grant proposals and donor presentations.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Annual fundraising revenue from Israeli donors.
\n\u2022 Scholarship funding secured.
\n\u2022 Number of new donors and alumni engaged.
\n\u2022 Grant proposals submitted and funding awarded.
\n\u2022 Donor retention and stewardship outcomes.
\n\u2022 Growth and quality of the fundraising pipeline.<\/p>\n
