instruction;<\/p>\n<p>Excellent ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors in the classroom, employing positive behavior support strategies, de-escalation techniques, conflict resolution strategies, and crisis intervention when necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Excellent communication skills in order to interact with students with diverse backgrounds and all levels of stakeholders, such as parents, community members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Familiarity with different types of learners\u00a0 and their academic, social and emotional needs.<\/p>\n<p>Excellent proven knowledge of various intervention strategies\u00a0 e.g. Orton-Gillingham, etc;<\/p>\n<p>Excellent knowledge of phonics, reading, \u201creading recovery\u201d, math and other skills such as structuring assignments and researching, to ensure that Inclusion students are supported in academic growth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACCOUNTABILITY<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Will be a part of a team supporting students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with Inclusion\u00a0 needs, collaborating with parents, teachers, and support staff to set meaningful goals and track progress.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to use systems to\u00a0 assess and monitor the academic, social, and behavioral progress of students, providing regular progress reports to parents and stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JUDGMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Proven ability to adapt teaching methods, materials, and classroom environments to meet the changing needs of students.<\/p>\n<p>Discretion
