In addition, if required the candidate would need to teach basic level (letters and vocabulary) through fun activities to younger students who are not mother tongue speakers.<\/p>\n<p>The candidate would actively contribute to the life and culture of the school, collaborate with colleagues, follow the set curriculum for STEAM adhering to all health and safety guidelines, and engage positively with students, families, and the international school community.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ability to differentiate for different levels of learners and emotional\/ behavioral needs<\/p>\n<p>Ability to include learners with varying degrees of English language proficiency<\/p>\n<p>Collaborate with students, teachers, parents, and leadership<\/p>\n<p>Plan and supervise FIRST FLL Challenge robotics program<\/p>\n<p>Other duties as required<\/p>\n<p>Promote Digital citizenship and set students up to use technology in safe, kind and safeguarded\u00a0 ways.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Qualification to teach STEAM in schools<\/p>\n<p>Relevant experience as\u00a0 STEAM teacher<\/p>\n<p>Fluent Hebrew<\/p>\n<p>Fluent English<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Position expectations:<\/p>\n<p>To excel in this position, an individual must successfully perform each essential responsibility in addition to the following:<\/p>\n<p>Classroom technology \u2013 be familiar with educational technology such as GSuite and online<\/p>\n<p>learning management systems.<\/p>\n<p>Classroom facilitation \u2013 effectively orchestrate a class with high learning impact by<\/p>\n<p>incorporating best practices into the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Curriculum development \u2013 contribute to the development and documentation of curricular<\/p>\n<p>documents (unit plans, assessments, standards documentation, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>Communication skills \u2013 proactively communicate to integrate all community stakeholders<\/p>\n<p>into the learning process.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ability to work fulltime and after hours on enrichment programs<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Guide practice in accordance with the JAIS Mission, Vision &amp; Profile of a Learner:<\/p>\n<p>Build meaningful relationships and dialogue with children in a warm and respectful manner that instills joy in learning and nurtures critical thinking, independence and a positive self-concept.<\/p>\n<p>Participate in team meetings and in ongoing professional development.
