Bridges Institute is expanding and is seeking outstanding Fluent English-speaking teachers for full-time and part-time positions in schools and learning centers across the Negev.<\/p>\n

Since 2014, Bridges has helped more than 11,000 students across over 50 schools and institutions build the confidence to communicate in English. Our program is approved by the Israeli Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n

At Bridges, English comes to life through movement, games, stories, role-play, conversation, and real communication. Our goal is not simply to teach vocabulary and grammar, but to help students find their voice and speak English confidently.<\/p>\n

The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Deliver engaging, in-person spoken-English lessons to children and teenagers.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Create a positive, well-managed classroom where students feel comfortable participating and speaking.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Use Bridges teaching materials and adapt activities to students\u2019 ages and English levels.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Lead active lessons incorporating communication, movement, games, stories, and role-play.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Collaborate professionally with Bridges coordinators and school teams.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Arrive prepared, communicate reliably, and maintain consistent attendance.<\/p>\n

What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u20aa115\u00a0<\/span>per full 60-minute teaching hour.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Full-time and part-time opportunities.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Work Sunday\u2013Thursday during school hours.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Employment as a salaried employee with a payslip and statutory benefits.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Transportation reimbursement in accordance with company and law policy.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Teaching materials, professional guidance, training, and ongoing support.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Meaningful educational work within a supportive and experienced organization.<\/p>\n

Placements are available in schools and learning centers across the Negev and are determined according to program needs, candidate availability, and location.<\/p>\n

No Hebrew is required\u2014the lessons are conducted in English. New Olim and veteran residents are welcome to apply.<\/p>\n

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Suitable candidates will be invited to continue through Bridges\u2019 interview and selection process.<\/p>\n

\u2022 English speaker\u2014English at a fluent level.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.<\/p>\n

\u2022 A recognized academic degree.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Legal authorization to work in Israel.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Availability Sunday\u2013Thursday during school hours, according to the agreed work schedule.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Ability to travel to assigned in-person school placements across the Negev – (All schools are accessible by public transportation)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Confidence leading and managing groups of children or teenagers.<\/p>\n

The Right Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Warm, energetic, responsible, and highly reliable.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Enjoys active teaching through speaking, movement, games, and interaction.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Able to create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Communicates professionally and works well as part of a team.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Understands that many students must first build confidence before they can speak English freely.<\/p>\n

Advantages<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Previous teaching or classroom experience.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Experience working with children or teenagers.<\/p>\n

\u2022 An educational background or teaching certificate.<\/p>\n
