About the Role<\/strong>
\nThis is a newly created Technical Lead role supporting one of Alteva’s largest and most revenue-critical business areas. The work involves complex operational workflows, multiple live systems, and a growing pipeline of technology initiatives.
\nAlteva has existing engineering capacity and a broader technology team. This person will join that structure, partnering with company technology leadership while owning technical architecture, code design, and day-to-day technical execution for this business area.
\nYou will be responsible for the quality, reliability, extensibility, and technical direction of the work. This means staying close enough to the code to guide design, review implementation, and speak clearly to technical tradeoffs when needed.
\nThis is a hands-on technical leadership role, not a manager-only position. We are looking for someone who brings practical engineering judgment, improves execution quality, and helps bring more structure and technical clarity as the team grows.<\/p>\n

What You’ll Own:<\/strong>
\nArchitecture & Code Design
\nOwn technical design and architecture for the business area, ensuring systems are built in a robust, maintainable, and extensible way
\nStay hands-on in the codebase so you can guide implementation, review work effectively, and speak to technical decisions with confidence
\nSet and uphold standards for code quality, design patterns, integration approaches, documentation, and maintainability
\nCollaborate with Alteva technology leadership and other technical leads on architecture decisions, security, standards, and cross-team alignment
\nIdentify technical debt, production risk, and system reliability gaps, and help prioritize what gets addressed and when<\/p>\n

Team & Delivery
\nServe as the primary technical point of contact for outsourced development partners supporting this work
\nProvide direction and guidance to internal and outsourced developers, building credibility through strong technical judgment and hands-on contribution
\nReview code across internal and outsourced developers, and raise the quality bar over time
\nSupport release planning, rollback readiness, environment management, and post-release validation
\nParticipate in discovery and scoping for new initiatives alongside product and operations leadership
\nSurface blockers early and keep delivery on track<\/p>\n

Systems & Reliability
\nLearn the technical landscape across core platforms, integrations, and automation workflows, and help improve technical documentation over time
\nWork within the broader Alteva technical framework while making sure business needs, risks, and priorities are clearly represented
\nEvaluate automation approaches including RPA and rules engines in coordination with other internal initiatives
\nHelp improve monitoring, alerting, and production support practices so issues are caught earlier and escalated clearly
\nContribute to a development environment that values speed, quality, and continuous learning<\/p>\n

What We’re Looking For:<\/strong>
\nStrong .NET and C# development background, with recent hands-on coding experience
\nExperience owning technical design or architecture for business-critical internal systems
\nExperience building, supporting, or improving business-critical internal tools, workflows, or systems
\nHands-on experience with Azure
\nExperience with integrations, APIs, data flows, or enterprise platforms
\nAbility to review code, guide developers, and raise engineering quality across internal and outsourced work
\nComfortable working in a live environment where things are still being built and not everything is defined
\nClear communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders without losing accuracy<\/p>\n

Preferred<\/strong>
\nSalesforce development or integration experience
\nFamiliarity with RPA tools, rules engines, or workflow automation strategies
\nExperience with automation, AI-assisted workflows, or intelligent document\/data processing
\nComfort using modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding tools where they improve productivity or quality
\nBackground in healthcare, RCM, legal operations, financial operations, or other high-volume operational environments
\nExperience working with outsourced development teams
\nExperience improving QA, release, monitoring, or rollback practices<\/p>\n

What This Isn’t<\/strong>
\nThis is not a role where you will spend the first six months in planning mode. The systems are live, the work is active, and the team needs someone who can contribute hands-on while helping bring more structure to execution.
\nIt is also not a siloed IC role. You will be expected to influence how technical work is designed, planned, reviewed, released, and supported. If you want to just write code and hand it off, this is not the right fit.<\/p>\n
