About the Role<\/strong> You’ll be embedded across a mix of Salesforce-native tools, AI-assisted workflows, and backend services, all actively in build. The work spans Salesforce sandbox environments, production validation workflows, .NET-based services, and AI-generated outputs where accuracy and consistency are important.<\/p>\n This is a hybrid manual and automation QA role. In the beginning, a meaningful part of the work will be hands-on manual testing, workflow validation, and release readiness checks while the automation framework is being built. Over time, the expectation is to convert repeatable testing into automated coverage so managers and operations leads are not carrying the burden of release testing.<\/p>\n The expectation is not just to find bugs. It is to build the systems that prevent them: test coverage, regression frameworks, automation runs, release gates, and clear release-readiness signals. \nAlteva RCM is building a dedicated quality function for a high-impact operational technology team. This is a foundational QA position, and the person in this role will help define how quality works here, not inherit a process someone else built.<\/p>\n
\nDesign and maintain testing layers: smoke, happy path, regression, and release-readiness testing, mapped to release stages
\nSet up and maintain automated test runs, including nightly checks where appropriate, to catch issues before business users do
\nBuild and maintain automation frameworks from scratch, with no existing framework to inherit
\nPerform manual and automated testing across Salesforce sandbox environments, production validation workflows, .NET-based services, and AI tool outputs
\nOwn QA sign-off recommendations for releases, including clear communication of release risk when coverage is incomplete
\nBuild a QA process that shifts release testing out of managers’ hands and into a structured QA workflow with clear test cases, ownership, and sign-off
\nDocument end-to-end business workflows and map test coverage to them
\nDefine and enforce release gates in partnership with developers and the Technology Lead
\nWork directly with operations team leads to understand how workflows break in practice, not just in theory
\nInvestigate production issues: identify root cause, document findings, and own the follow-through to prevent recurrence
\nMentor and provide technical direction to the QA Engineer on the team
\nContribute to building a proactive quality culture where issues are caught before business users see them<\/p>\n
\nExperience with API testing, including REST and\/or SOAP, in environments with multiple system integrations
\nProficiency in SQL for validating data accuracy across system integrations
\nComfortable with version control such as Git, including working alongside developers and managing test code
\nSalesforce experience required, with comfort in sandbox-based testing and production validation support
\nStrong background in building automation frameworks from scratch, not just maintaining existing ones
\nExperience testing AI or ML outputs is a strong plus, especially validating non-deterministic systems
\nFamiliarity with .NET environments is a strong plus
\nAbility to write clear, thorough test documentation that non-technical stakeholders can understand
\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with operations leads, developers, and product
\nBackground in healthcare RCM, medical billing, or complex operational workflows is a strong plus and will accelerate ramp-up
\nSelf-directed and comfortable operating without a mature QA playbook<\/p>\n
\nThis is a remote role requiring time zone overlap with two teams: our operations team in Israel and our development team in US Eastern time. You’ll need a few hours of daily overlap with each. Eastern Europe time zones work well for this, though other locations will be considered if the overlap requirement is met.<\/p>\n
