This role oversees student safety, well-being, extracurricular programming, and the day-to-day systems that support student life outside the classroom.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The Director of Student Life directly manages the Student Life team, including the madrichim, nurse, social worker, and Av Bayit, and works closely with leadership and other departments to ensure a safe, supportive, well-organized, and meaningful student experience.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<h3>1. Student Safety, Well-Being, and Support<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Ensure a safe, healthy, and supportive student environment.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee student welfare, emotional support, accommodations, and special cases.<\/li>\n<li>Support student discipline and follow-up in coordination with leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in crisis response, risk management, and on-call support as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2. Student Life Programming<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Lead the planning and implementation of student life programming.<\/li>\n<li>Develop extracurricular, evening, Shabbat, and special events and activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that student life initiatives support student growth and development.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate programming and activities for different student groups and organizational needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>3. Staff Leadership and Team Development<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Directly manage and develop the madrichim, nurse, social worker, and Av Bayit.<\/li>\n<li>Lead staff onboarding, training, mentoring, and ongoing professional development.<\/li>\n<li>Establish clear expectations and maintain high standards of care, professionalism, and student support.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a collaborative and high-performing Student Life team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>4.
