The BARD Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scientific Program Manager. BARD Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to promoting US-Israeli collaboration of research and development of topics that
\nfoster innovation in agriculture, food, and nutrition.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/strong> Qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Coordinate and oversee the submission and evaluation of research proposals in various
\napplication tracks funded by the BARD foundation.
\n\u2022 Communicate with research institutes and scientists in Israel and the U.S. to cultivate
\nrelationships with potential applicants.
\n\u2022 Supervise the ad-hoc review process with global experts, scientists, or researchers.
\n\u2022 Manage the evaluation processes, including panel member recruitment, orientation
\nmeetings, and final resolutions.
\n\u2022 Update program guidelines to ensure alignment with evolving needs.
\n\u2022 Correspond with other funding agencies and prepare written material for meetings (in
\nthe US and Israel), including scientific content for internal and external
\ncommunications.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Required: master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., agriculture, biological sciences, environmental sciences, nutritional sciences, etc.). A PhD degree will be an advantage.
\n\u2022 Minimum of 4 years’ experience in relevant field. In addition, at least 2 years’ experience conducting or assisting in research projects in the public or private sector will be an advantage.
\n\u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
\n\u2022 Fluent English skills – written and verbal; Strong Hebrew skills-written and verbal.
\n\u2022 Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
\n\u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
