The Head of Development will report to the CEO and take full responsibility for substantially expanding the Center’s donor base both in Israel and internationally.<\/p>\n
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Development will be a dynamic and inspiring leader with demonstrated success in both building and implementing a detailed fundraising strategy and substantially growing philanthropic relationships both in Israel and throughout the Jewish world so as to fund both current and future programming.<\/p>\n
As Head of Development, You Get To:
\n\u2022 Be responsible for fundraising efforts in Israel and throughout the Jewish world;
\n\u2022 Be responsible for the solicitation of philanthropic contributions, including the facilitation of major gifts for all aspects of programming, as well as several capital campaigns;
\n\u2022 Oversee the Israel-based team to execute a comprehensive fundraising plan;
\n\u2022 Oversee several Friends of organizations to expand donor outreach;
\n\u2022 Take full responsibility for planning and executing major capital campaigns;
\n\u2022 Initiate and lead the production of all resource-development marketing efforts, including donor-driven materials, events, campaigns and initiatives.<\/p>\n
This Job Is For You If You:
\n\u25cf Have prior experience of at least ten years in fundraising and donor cultivation;
\n\u25cf Have managed a development department in a large Israeli nonprofit;
\n\u25cf Have a deep understanding of both the Israeli and international philanthropic landscape and a demonstrated commitment to advancing pluralistic Judaism and shared-society values;
\n\u25cf Are completely fluent in both Hebrew and English, and are an experienced writer and speaker in both languages;
\n\u25cf Have a demonstrated familiarity with modern digital fundraising tools;
\n\u25cf Are personable, motivated, and a team player;
\n\u25cf Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner;
\n\u25cf Are a strategic and nuanced thinker capable of creating innovative ways to effectively engage new donor audiences;
\n\u25cf Are detail-oriented, organized, enthusiastic, and energetic;
\n\u25cf Are ethical and able to model high personal and professional standards;
\n\u25cf Are available to travel<\/p>\n
