This institute, which conducts economic research that directly impacts Israel’s economic strength and inclusive growth, seeks an ambitious and experienced Development professional to take responsibility for stewarding the Institute’s existing partners and for working with the CEO to significantly expand the current funding base.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As Development Manager, You Get To:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to develop and implement the Institute\u2019s resource development strategy;
\n\u2022 Have full responsibility for maintaining all donor stewardship, ensuring high-quality communication and reporting;
\n\u2022 Conduct prospect research to develop opportunities for engaging new funders in the work of the Institute;
\n\u2022 Oversee and drive the writing of all grant proposals (including budgets) and reports, ensuring they are well-written, accurate, impact-driven, and tell a compelling story;
\n\u2022 Oversee the drafting of all correspondence, LOIs, and other supporting documents, adapting to the needs of each donor and prospect;
\n\u2022 Work with researchers and program leaders to translate policy and research initiatives into fundable projects;
\n\u2022 Coordinate internally to manage the full lifecycle of grants, including submissions, reporting, and renewals;
\n\u2022 Prepare all donor meetings;
\n\u2022 Have full responsibility for the tracking of all grant cycles on a donor-management platform, in an organized and streamlined manner, including all reporting requirements, check-in meetings, and donor cultivation activities.<\/p>\n

This Job Is For You If You:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Have at least five years’ experience in the Development department of an Israeli nonprofit, preferably an academic institution;
\n\u2022 Have demonstrated success writing successful grants, reports, and the full gamut of written donor communications;
\n\u2022 Have faultless English and impeccable writing skills;
\n\u2022 Have faultless Hebrew and impeccable writing skills;
\n\u2022 Are familiar with data management platforms;
\n\u2022 Have proven experience preparing detailed budgets;
\n\u2022 Have strong management and organizational abilities, and can manage multiple deadlines simultaneously;
\n\u2022 Are familiar with prospect research tools;
\n\u2022 Can work collaboratively with researchers, policy experts, and government stakeholders;
\n\u2022 Are proactive, detail-oriented, and mission-driven;
\n\u2022 Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner.<\/p>\n
