\nThe Scientific Project is a hands-on role responsible for the end-to-end management
\nand development of water remediation projects, with a focus on harmful algal blooms
\n(HABs). This role combines scientific leadership, project development, field execution,
\nand stakeholder engagement.
\nThe position includes full lifecycle responsibility for projects, from proposal
\ndevelopment and design, through execution, and culminating in comprehensive
\nreporting and scientific publications. The Scientific Project Manager will also play a key
\nrole in establishing best practices, building scalable processes, and interfacing with
\nclients, government bodies, academic institutions, and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Lead the full lifecycle of remediation projects, including proposal writing, project
\ndesign, execution, monitoring, and close-out
\n\u2022 Develop technical proposals, grant submissions, and responses to RFPs and
\nRFQs
\n\u2022 Design and implement monitoring programs before, during, and after treatment
\nphases
\n\u2022 Ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control standards throughout
\nall project stages<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Conduct and supervise field sampling, including water collection and in-situ
\nmeasurements
\n\u2022 Calibrate and maintain field instruments, ensuring proper documentation and
\nlogs
\n\u2022 Manage sample handling and coordination with external laboratories
\n\u2022 Analyze field and laboratory data using appropriate scientific and statistical
\ntools<\/p>\n
\nWork on processing and analyzing multi-source environmental and sensor data,
\nincluding satellites, drones, and in-situ measurements.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Prepare and submit timely daily, weekly, and monthly reports, as well as post treatment summaries
\n\u2022 Produce comprehensive technical and analytical reports in English, integrating field and
\nlab data<\/p>\n
\nmethodologies, results, and outcomes
\n\u2022 Contribute to and author scientific publications based on project findings<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Develop best practices and standardized methodologies to support scalable
\noperations
\n\u2022 Build and refine monitoring and quality assurance project plans
\n\u2022 Drive continuous improvement in scientific and operational processes
\n\u2022 Provide scientific guidance on HAB treatment strategies and emerging
\napproaches<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Work closely with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and academic
\ninstitutions
\n\u2022 Serve as a technical interface with clients and key stakeholders
\n\u2022 Represent the company and its projects at academic and professional
\nconferences
\n\u2022 Provide professional customer support, including technical presentations and
\nproduct demonstrations
\n\u2022 Support business development through scientific and technical input<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 MA or equivalent advanced degree in Life Sciences: (Environmental Science,
\nMicrobiology, Marine Biology, Geology, Environmental Chemistry or related
\nfields)
\n\u2022 Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience (Advantage)
\n\u2022 Proven track record of delivering results and driving continuous improvement
\n\u2022 Demonstrated experience working with government entities and\/or academic
\ninstitutions
\n\u2022 Strong field experience in aquatic ecosystems
\n\u2022 Demonstrated expertise in scientific data analysis and technical writing,
\nincluding reports and scientific publications
\n\u2022 Experience managing or supervising field projects
\n\u2022 Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
\n\u2022 Native-level English proficiency (written and verbal)<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Experience with harmful algal blooms (HABs) and cyanobacteria
\n\u2022 Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance frameworks
\n\u2022 Strong statistical analysis capabilities<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Available to travel frequently per project (2-3 times in a quarter for 10-14 days),
