The Professional Manager is the operational “engine” of the synagogue. This individual oversees
\nall administrative, financial, and logistical aspects of the community, ensuring that our
\nVolunteers and spiritual leaders can focus on the community’s mission.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u25cf Financial Management: Oversee the annual budget, manage membership dues, and Qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n \u25cf <\/span>Experience in non-profit management, community organizing, or business administration.
\ncoordinate with the accountant for monthly and annual reporting and payroll.
\n\u25cf Resource Development: Lead ongoing fundraising efforts and the annual campaign,
\nwhile cultivating relationships with key donors and foundations.

\n\u25cf Operations & Logistics: Manage the facility relationship with the school building,
\noversee on-site cleanliness and setup, and maintain the community calendar and digital
\ncommunications.
\n\u25cf Team Leadership: Supervise part-time staff and service providers, including the
\nCommunications Coordinator, Shammash (Caretaker), and cleaning crews.
\n\u25cf Volunteer Coordination: Recruit and manage various community committees (e.g.,
\nChesed, Youth, Holidays, Kiddushim) to empower member-led initiatives.
\n\u25cf Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for all external vendors, including
\ncatering, security, and maintenance.<\/p>\n
\n\u25cf <\/span>Strong financial literacy and experience managing budgets.
\n\u25cf <\/span>Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple vendors and staff
\nmembers.
\n\u25cf <\/span>Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with volunteer-led committees.
