The role combines hands-on Node.js development, SaaS product architecture, AI workflow modernization, product ownership, and coordination with UX\/UI or outside technical resources when needed.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for someone who can do more than complete coding tasks. The right person should be able to own the product, understand business needs, make strong technical decisions, use modern AI tools to accelerate development, and see the product through execution, launch, adoption, and long-term success.<\/p>\n<p>If the product advances beyond internal use into a commercial subscription SaaS product, this person should also be capable of helping lead or coordinate a small technical team.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CRM-like SaaS product development: Design, build, and improve a SaaS-style platform for brokerage workflows, including client records, deal pipelines, lead tracking, contact management, task management, dashboards, reporting, document workflows, user accounts, permissions, and analytics.<\/p>\n<p>Product ownership: Own the product roadmap, feature prioritization, architecture decisions, execution plan, delivery milestones, and continuous improvement process.<\/p>\n<p>Node.js backend development: Build reliable backend services, APIs, databases, authentication, user permissions, integrations, and scalable application infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>AI workflow modernization: Identify and implement AI tools that can improve brokerage operations, including research, document processing, CRM updates, lead tracking, underwriting support, email drafting, data extraction, knowledge management, and workflow automation.<\/p>\n<p>AI-assisted development: Use modern AI coding and product-building tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Replit, Lovable, v0, or similar tools to accelerate development while maintaining strong engineering standards.<\/p>\n<p>UX\/UI coordination: Create basic user flows, wireframes, and product requirements, or outsource and coordinate with a qualified UX\/UI designer when specialized design work is needed.<\/p>\n<p>Workflow automation: Automate repetitive office tasks using APIs, scripts, no-code\/low-code tools, AI agents, and integrations between existing business platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Cloud and DevOps ownership: Help manage deployment, infrastructure, reliability, security, cloud cost optimization, and system scalability.<\/p>\n<p>User adoption and onboarding: Work with business users to understand pain points, train users, collect feedback, and turn real workflow needs into product features.<\/p>\n<p>Commercial readiness: Help shape the product so it can potentially evolve from an internal brokerage tool into a commercial SaaS subscription product.<\/p>\n<p>Team leadership: If the product grows, help lead or coordinate developers, designers, contractors, technical specialists, and outside vendors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.<\/p>\n<p>Prior experience building, scaling, rebuilding, or modernizing a SaaS product.<\/p>\n<p>Experience with CRM-like systems, workflow platforms, dashboards, analytics tools, marketplace apps, or business operations software.<\/p>\n<p>Strong understanding of APIs, databases, authentication, permissions, cloud hosting, and modern web application architecture.<\/p>\n<p>Experience using AI-assisted development tools and modern vibe coding workflows.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to translate business processes into clear product features and technical execution plans.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to take ownership from concept through execution, launch, adoption, iteration, and measurable success.<\/p>\n<p>Previous experience leading or coordinating developers, contractors, designers, or technical contributors.<\/p>\n<p>Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical business users.<\/p>\n<p>Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, practical business environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prior software architect, technical lead, founder, or senior engineering leadership experience.<\/p>\n<p>Experience taking a product from internal tool to customer-facing SaaS or commercial subscription product.<\/p>\n<p>Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Supabase, Firebase, AWS, Vercel, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar tools.<\/p>\n<p>Experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, deployment pipelines, reliability, security, scalability, and cloud cost optimization.<\/p>\n<p>Experience integrating CRM systems, email tools, calendar tools, document management systems, data providers, payment systems, or brokerage-related platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Familiarity with commercial real estate, brokerage, lending, investment sales, deal sourcing, or financial services workflows.<\/p>\n<p>Experience with AI\/ML, data pipelines, automation, document processing, lead scoring, business intelligence, or advanced analytics.<\/p>\n<p>Experience with customer onboarding, support, training, user feedback loops, and product adoption.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to manage freelancers or outsource UX\/UI design tasks when needed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ideal Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is a product-minded technical leader who can move fast, use AI tools intelligently, and help a traditional brokerage office become more modern, efficient, and technology-driven.<\/p>\n<p>This person should be comfortable writing code, making architecture decisions, evaluating tools, improving workflows, coordinating outside resources, and thinking strategically about how the product could eventually become a scalable commercial SaaS business.<\/p>\n<p>We do not want someone who only depends on vibe coding or AI-generated code without judgment.
