This role sits at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and execution, shaping how Momentum expands its reach while deepening its impact.<br \/>\nThis role reports to the Director of Partnerships. In close partnership with the Director of Partnerships and cross-functional leadership, this role leads the design and execution of a multi-year regional growth strategy, oversees entry into new markets, and ensures that expansion is both mission-aligned and operationally strong.<\/p>\n<p>The Associate Director brings a balance of strategic vision and disciplined execution, leading regional partnership efforts, guiding market pilots, and overseeing Momentum trips to Israel. They manage a team of Partnership Managers and are accountable for regional performance, budget oversight, and sustained partnership growth.<\/p>\n<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<p>Global Expansion &amp; Market Strategy<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead the development and execution of a multi-year regional expansion strategy, including prioritization of high-potential markets<br \/>\n\u2022 Define clear success metrics and milestones, and continuously assess performance across new regions<br \/>\n\u2022 Oversee pilot markets from launch through evaluation, translating insights into scalable growth strategies<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Partnerships<br \/>\n\u2022 Shape and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy for Europe, aligned with Momentum\u2019s long-term vision and growth priorities<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify and activate opportunities to expand reach, deepen engagement, and strengthen ecosystem impact<br \/>\n\u2022 Partner across departments, including Marketing and Education, to ensure new initiatives are responsive to partner needs and market dynamics<\/p>\n<p>Partnership Growth &amp; Market Development<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead the identification, cultivation, and conversion of high-value partnerships across the region<br \/>\n\u2022 Expand Momentum\u2019s presence within existing communities while entering new ones with strong long-term potential<br \/>\n\u2022 Design and implement city-level strategies to increase collaboration, participation, and local impact<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct rigorous market mapping to assess community needs, readiness, and sustainability<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop and execute growth plans with key national partners<br \/>\n\u2022 Drive achievement of regional participation and expansion goals<br \/>\n\u2022 Use ongoing market insights to inform strategy, program design, and partner engagement<\/p>\n<p>Partnership Management &amp; Program Delivery<br \/>\n\u2022 Oversee and strengthen relationships with partner organizations, ensuring alignment with Momentum\u2019s mission, standards, and expectations<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure partners are set up for success across recruitment, marketing, fundraising, logistics, and program delivery<br \/>\n\u2022 Drive performance against regional impact metrics, including partner growth, participant engagement, and diversity<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure high-quality delivery and measurable impact of programs implemented through partners<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead the development and evolution of partner training tools and resources<\/p>\n<p>Team Leadership<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Partnership Managers<br \/>\n\u2022 Set clear expectations, provide consistent feedback, and invest in professional growth<br \/>\n\u2022 Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence<br \/>\n\u2022 Strengthen cross-functional alignment and ensure meaningful participation in organizational hubs and initiatives<\/p>\n<p>Operations &amp; Regional Management<br \/>\n\u2022 Oversee regional budgeting, planning, and financial performance in partnership with Finance<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure strong operational discipline and accurate reporting<br \/>\n\u2022 Contribute to systems and process improvements, including CRM and internal tools<\/p>\n<p>Lay Leadership &amp; Donor Engagement<br \/>\n\u2022 Build and steward relationships with lay leaders, alumni, and key stakeholders across the region.<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify and research prospective donors, assessing alignment with organizational priorities, and provide qualified leads to the Development team for strategic cultivation and engagement.<br \/>\n\u2022 Represent Momentum in the field, strengthening visibility and trust with partners and communities<br \/>\nAdditional Responsibilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Contribute to broader organizational priorities and initiatives as needed<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 5\u20137 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, partnerships, or program management; experience in global or multi-regional environments strongly preferred<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong proficiency in English, Hebrew and Russian, both verbally and in writing.
