Fluent Hebrew required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><br \/>\nThis is a full-time position, based at Save a Child&#8217;s Heart Holon Children&#8217;s Home &amp; Headquarters (16 Haviva<br \/>\nReik St., Holon). The position incorporates partial remote work.<br \/>\nThe position requires the ability to be employed in Israel<\/p>\n<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead &amp; develop the organization&#8217;s fundraising strategy and the annual workplan of the<br \/>\ndepartment to meet the organization&#8217;s $10M annual budget and securing funding for current<br \/>\nand future capital projects ranging from $1-4M<br \/>\n\u2022 Report to and assist the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead &amp; manage the Resource Development Department (Incl. 2 active Grants &amp; Development<br \/>\nAssociates)<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead the synchronization of global fundraising efforts across six affiliate offices (US, Canada,<br \/>\nAustralia, UK, Netherlands, Switzerland) to ensure brand consistency and shared financial<br \/>\ntargets<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage the development of existing and new major donors, foundations, foundation<br \/>\nrepresentatives<br \/>\n\u2022 Oversee prospect identification, LOIs, grant proposals and reporting for foundations, private<br \/>\ndonors, institutional, governmental, organizational entities &#8211; such as private foundations and<br \/>\ncharitable trusts, Federations etc. This includes management of the process from prospect<br \/>\nresearch, initial approach application \/ proposal writing and submission (coordination with relevant<br \/>\nstakeholders), relationship building, collection of project data and information from the medical team<br \/>\nand other departments, report writing and submission<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage grant and donation compliance<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage project budgets<br \/>\n\u2022 Reviewing, crafting &amp; writing, editing \u2013 Project proposal documents, donor reports, annual<br \/>\nreports<br \/>\n\u2022 Present to visitors including individuals, groups and at events\/conferences as may be required<\/p>\n<p>MIN. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS<br \/>\n\u2022 Identification with the organization&#8217;s values and mission<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Fluent English &amp; Hebrew speaker &#8211; Bilingual proficiency<br \/>\nExcellent writing, proofing, and editing skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team<br \/>\n\u2022 Min. 4 years relevant experience in Resource Development in Israel and\/or abroad \u2013<br \/>\nDonor relations &amp; stewardship development, grant writing, project management,<br \/>\nreporting and compliance<br \/>\n\u2022 Proven success in identifying and securing gifts and grants<br \/>\n\u2022 Proven experience in managing donor relationships<br \/>\n\u2022 Public speaking and ability to present to audiences<br \/>\n\u2022 Organized and responsible<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge and proficiency working with Microsoft Office 365 suite, specifically Excel &amp;<br \/>\nWord, SharePoint &amp; OneDrive, Google Suite, Monday Project Management &amp; CRM<br \/>\n\u2022 Availability for travel abroad<br \/>\n\u2022 Driver&#8217;s License<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to provide references from previous employment<\/p>\n<p>ADVANTAGES<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience managing a small team<br \/>\n\u2022 Academic degree in a relevant field (e.g. International Relations, Business Development)<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience and familiarity with the Israel and international philanthropy landscape<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience running fundraising campaigns, crowdfunding campaigns<br \/>\n\u2022 Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines and targets diligently<br \/>\n\u2022 Affinity for and general understanding of the medical field and medical terminology or<br \/>\nexperience working with doctors<br \/>\n\u2022 Proficiency in additional languages (spoken, reading &amp; writing) \u2013 eg. German \/ Swiss \/ French \/<br \/>\nSpanish<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience working in Canva or Photoshop or similar design software<br \/>\n\u2022 Technologically oriented, experience with AI tools, able to work remotely when required<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience with CRM\/donor database systems \u2013 Monday \/ Salesforce or similar<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in the field of Humanitarian Aid, International Development<br \/>\n\u2022 Familiarity with grant portals; Grants.gov, EU, Israel Estates Committee etc.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is a team player who is both a strategic and an independent thinker, someone who knows how to initiate a process towards a goal and see it through to completion with resilience and creativity.
