\n\u2022 Lead & develop the organization’s fundraising strategy and the annual workplan of the
\ndepartment to meet the organization’s $10M annual budget and securing funding for current
\nand future capital projects ranging from $1-4M
\n\u2022 Report to and assist the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director
\n\u2022 Lead & manage the Resource Development Department (Incl. 2 active Grants & Development
\nAssociates)
\n\u2022 Lead the synchronization of global fundraising efforts across six affiliate offices (US, Canada,
\nAustralia, UK, Netherlands, Switzerland) to ensure brand consistency and shared financial
\ntargets
\n\u2022 Manage the development of existing and new major donors, foundations, foundation
\nrepresentatives
\n\u2022 Oversee prospect identification, LOIs, grant proposals and reporting for foundations, private
\ndonors, institutional, governmental, organizational entities – such as private foundations and
\ncharitable trusts, Federations etc. This includes management of the process from prospect
\nresearch, initial approach application \/ proposal writing and submission (coordination with relevant
\nstakeholders), relationship building, collection of project data and information from the medical team
\nand other departments, report writing and submission
\n\u2022 Manage grant and donation compliance
\n\u2022 Manage project budgets
\n\u2022 Reviewing, crafting & writing, editing \u2013 Project proposal documents, donor reports, annual
\nreports
\n\u2022 Present to visitors including individuals, groups and at events\/conferences as may be required<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Identification with the organization’s values and mission
\n\u2022 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
\n\u2022 Fluent English & Hebrew speaker – Bilingual proficiency
\nExcellent writing, proofing, and editing skills
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
\n\u2022 Min. 4 years relevant experience in Resource Development in Israel and\/or abroad \u2013
\nDonor relations & stewardship development, grant writing, project management,
\nreporting and compliance
\n\u2022 Proven success in identifying and securing gifts and grants
\n\u2022 Proven experience in managing donor relationships
\n\u2022 Public speaking and ability to present to audiences
\n\u2022 Organized and responsible
\n\u2022 Knowledge and proficiency working with Microsoft Office 365 suite, specifically Excel &
\nWord, SharePoint & OneDrive, Google Suite, Monday Project Management & CRM
\n\u2022 Availability for travel abroad
\n\u2022 Driver’s License
\n\u2022 Ability to provide references from previous employment<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Experience managing a small team
\n\u2022 Academic degree in a relevant field (e.g. International Relations, Business Development)
\n\u2022 Experience and familiarity with the Israel and international philanthropy landscape
\n\u2022 Experience running fundraising campaigns, crowdfunding campaigns
\n\u2022 Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines and targets diligently
\n\u2022 Affinity for and general understanding of the medical field and medical terminology or
\nexperience working with doctors
\n\u2022 Proficiency in additional languages (spoken, reading & writing) \u2013 eg. German \/ Swiss \/ French \/
\nSpanish
\n\u2022 Experience working in Canva or Photoshop or similar design software
\n\u2022 Technologically oriented, experience with AI tools, able to work remotely when required
\n\u2022 Experience with CRM\/donor database systems \u2013 Monday \/ Salesforce or similar
\n\u2022 Experience in the field of Humanitarian Aid, International Development
\n\u2022 Familiarity with grant portals; Grants.gov, EU, Israel Estates Committee etc.<\/p>\n
