This organization, which serves the survivors of the Nova Festival massacre and the bereaved families, seeks an enthusiastic and creative Head of Development to take overall responsibility for developing the organization\u2019s resources, most particularly expanding the donor-base so as to drive growth.<\/p>\n
As Head of Development, You Get To:
\n\u2022 Have full responsibility for all resource development activities;
\n\u2022 Have full responsibility for creating and implementing an annual fundraising plan;
\n\u2022 Oversee the writing of all grant proposals (including budgets) and reports, ensuring they are well-written, accurate, impact-driven, and tell a compelling story;
\n\u2022 Oversee the writing of all correspondence, LOIs, and other supporting documents adapting to the needs of each donor and prospect;
\n\u2022 Fully support the organization’s US fundraising arm;
\n\u2022 Be responsible for expanding the current donor base both in Israel and abroad (foundations, private donors, the corporate sector and government sources);
\n\u2022 Develop opportunities for engaging new donors in the work of the organization;
\n\u2022 Oversee the preparation of and lead all donor meetings;
\n\u2022 Oversee the tracking of grant cycles and donor engagement in an organized and streamlined manner, including all reporting requirements, check-in meetings, and donor cultivation activities.<\/p>\n
This Job Is For You If You:
\n\u2022 Have demonstrated success overseeing a Development Department in an Israeli nonprofit;
\n\u2022 Have demonstrated success writing successful grants, reports and the full gamut of written donor communications;
\n\u2022 Have faultless English and impeccable writing skills;
\n\u2022 Have faultless Hebrew and impeccable writing skills;
\n\u2022 Are familiar with data management;
\n\u2022 Have proven experience preparing detailed budgets on Excel spreadsheets;
\n\u2022 Can complete projects with exceptional attention to detail and efficiency;
\n\u2022 Are action-oriented and flexible, and are able to work independently as well as to collaborate with colleagues;
\n\u2022 Are personable, motivated, and a team player;
\n\u2022 Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner.<\/p>\n
