The Head of Resource Development will work with the organization’s executives to considerably increase funding both in Israel and internationally, for ongoing EMMS needs, especially the EMMS Nazareth Hospital, including significant capital campaigns.
\nReporting to the CEO, you will have well-honed managerial skills as well as demonstrated success in raising major capital gifts, building a fundraising strategy, working with hospital executives, and growing philanthropic relationships both throughout Israel and internationally.<\/p>\n
As Head of Resource Development, You Get To:
\n\u2022 Be responsible for all global fundraising efforts;
\n\u2022 Manage a considerable portfolio of donors and prospects, cultivating and soliciting major donors worldwide \u2013 both among the existing donor base and by identifying new prospects;
\n\u2022 Expand the hospital\u2019s donor base both in Israel and internationally;
\n\u2022 Solicit major contributions for ongoing EMMS needs, as well as its new facility, securing major gifts at the six-to-seven-figure level;
\n\u2022 Build and manage a fundraising team that can achieve annual fundraising goals;
\n\u2022 Oversee all grant applications and reports to funders and prospective funders – both in English and in Hebrew;
\n\u2022 Plan and lead donor visits and missions;
\n\u2022 Oversee the development of fundraising materials, events, campaigns and initiatives;
\n\u2022 Oversee all data management, as well as gift processing and acknowledgement;
\n\u2022 Oversee all research on prospects and assemble materials for cultivation and solicitation visits;
\n\u2022 Work closely and in cooperation with the executive team in Israel and the UK;
\n\u2022 Work closely and in cooperation with the PR and comms teams in Israel and the UK.<\/p>\n
This Job Is For You If:
\n\u2022 Have previously managed a resource development department;
\n\u2022 Have demonstrated prior experience in fundraising, board development, donor cultivation, and grant writing;
\n\u2022 Have previously managed a major capital campaign;
\n\u2022 Are personable, motivated, and a team player;
\n\u2022 Are an experienced writer and speaker;
\n\u2022 Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner;
\n\u2022 Are a strategic and nuanced thinker capable of creating innovative ways to effectively engage new donor audiences;
\n\u2022 Are detail-oriented, organized, enthusiastic, and energetic;
\n\u2022 Have a deep understanding of the Israeli and Jewish philanthropic landscape;
\n\u2022 Are ethical and able to model high personal and professional standards;
\n\u2022 Have an academic degree.<\/p>\n
