The Director of Global Resource Development will partner with the VP Global Affairs to expand philanthropic support in Israel and abroad.
\nReporting to the VP Global Affairs, the Director of Global Resource Development will work to strengthen Sheba Medical Center’s relationships with donors and partner organizations worldwide. The position involves building and managing an on-site development team as well as overseeing the development and implementation of a development strategy and annual work plan.<\/p>\n
As Director of Global Resource Development, You Get To:
\n\u2022 Develop and execute a comprehensive RD strategy to address Sheba’s funding goals, and oversee its implementation worldwide;
\n\u2022 Develop an annual work plan for global efforts and oversee its implementation;
\n\u2022 Fully support and coordinate all communication and outreach efforts with Sheba’s Friends Associations globally;
\n\u2022 Have full responsibility for managing a portfolio of major funding partners;
\n\u2022 Assist in conceptualizing and implementing major fundraising campaigns;
\n\u2022 Build and manage the Sheba’s RD team;
\n\u2022 Oversee the writing and submission of all donor-driven materials (both visual and written), including high-quality funding proposals, reports, updates, and marketing materials that address all global efforts;
\n\u2022 Oversee the tracking and management of donor information, including accurate recordkeeping of incoming donations and commitments, ensuring timely acknowledgments and stewardship;
\n\u2022 Plan and lead donor visits and missions.<\/p>\n
This Job Is For You If You:
\n\u2022 Have prior experience in raising major gifts, board development, and donor cultivation in an Israeli nonprofit;
\n\u2022 Have previously fundraised for a comparable Israeli institution;
\n\u2022 Have proven experience managing a development team;
\n\u2022 Understand the Israeli and Jewish philanthropic landscape;
\n\u2022 Are fluent in Hebrew and English;
\n\u2022 Are personable, motivated, and a team player;
\n\u2022 Are a strong writer and speaker;
\n\u2022 Are a strategic thinker who can engage new donor audiences;
\n\u2022 Are detail-oriented, organized, and energetic;
\n\u2022 Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards;
\n\u2022 Are available to travel abroad frequently.<\/p>\n
