Position Title:\u00a0Resident Advisor (RA) –\u00a0Nefesh B\u2019Nefesh Bnot Sherut Residence<\/p>\n
Position Overview:
\nThe Resident Advisor (RA) plays a key role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and well-functioning living environment for Bnot Sherut Bodedot. RAs serve as the first point of contact for residents, provide on-call coverage, respond to emergencies, and help foster a positive and engaged community within the building.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing questions, concerns, and needs
\n\u2022 Be available for building-related needs, including resident issues and operational concerns
\n\u2022 Rotation of on-call and on-site coverage from 6:00 PM until the following morning, with phones on
\n\u2022 Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies (including fire alarms, power outages, flooding, or other urgent incidents); all emergencies require full participation regardless of personal plans
\n\u2022 Monitor and respond in group communications when questions are asked, even if only to state temporary unavailability
\n\u2022 Make a consistent effort to attend and participate in community events, such as pizza parties, soup nights, and other programming provided to the girls
\n\u2022 Uphold building policies by addressing inappropriate behavior and preventing unauthorized individuals from entering the building
\n\u2022 Participate in a rotating Shabbat schedule, with one RA on duty each Shabbat<\/p>\n
