Job Description:\u00a0<\/strong>
\nSeeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Budget Manager to lead the organization\u2019s budgeting, forecasting, and budget-performance management processes. This role is central to strengthening financial planning, improving budget utilization oversight, and ensuring timely, accurate reporting to key stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:
\nBudgeting & Financial Planning
\n\u25cf Lead the annual budgeting process across departments and programs, including
\nassumptions, templates, timelines, and internal alignment while partnering with
\nprogram and department heads to ensure budgets are realistic, compliant and
\nactionable.
\n\u25cf Monitor budget utilization and track actuals vs. budget on a monthly basis while
\nidentifying trends, risks, variances.<\/p>\n
Forecasting & Scenario Analysis
\n\u25cf Prepare rolling forecasts and updated financial projections across the fiscal year.
\n\u25cf Support cash-flow planning by connecting forecasts to operational drivers and
\nfunding timing.<\/p>\n
Reporting & Stakeholder Deliverables
\n\u25cf Oversee and coordinate financial reporting
\n\u25cf Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, and delivered on schedule, with a high
\nstandard of presentation and clarity.<\/p>\n
BI Dashboards & Management Tools
\n\u25cf Develop budget utilization reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI or
\nequivalent) to create management-friendly dashboards that connect finance to
\nprogram outcomes and operational activity.
\n\u25cf Improve visibility and decision-making through clear KPIs and reporting frameworks.
\nTeam Supervision & Cross-Functional Coordination
\n\u25cf Supervise the Senior Bookkeeper \u2013 Revenue & Reporting, including priorities,
\nquality control, deadlines, and professional development.
\n\u25cf Work closely with Accounting\/Bookkeeping, Payroll, and program teams to ensure
\naccurate coding, reporting readiness, and clean data inputs.
\n\u25cf Support continuous improvement of financial processes, internal controls, and
\nreporting standard<\/p>\n

Job Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
\u25cf English at an exceptional level (native-level or near-native) \u2013 mandatory.
\nMust be able to write and present complex financial reports clearly and professionally
\nto international stakeholders.
\n\u25cf Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master\u2019s
\ndegree \u2013 advantage).
\n\u25cf 8+ years of relevant experience in budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, or financial
\nmanagement (NGO \/ public sector \/ donor-funded environment \u2013 strong advantage).
\n\u25cf Proven experience managing budgets across multiple programs\/cost centers and
\nworking with cross-functional stakeholders.
\n\u25cf Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail, with the ability to \u201cown\u201d numbers
\nend-to-end.
\n\u25cf Demonstrated ability to build clear reports, narratives, and presentations for
\nleadership and external partners.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills & Tools
\n\u25cf Advanced Excel skills (models, pivots, lookups, structured budgeting files).
\n\u25cf Experience with BI\/reporting tools (Power BI preferred).
\n\u25cf Experience with Priority
\n\u25cf Strong document and presentation capabilities (Word\/PowerPoint) for professional
\nreporting outputs.<\/p>\n
