Dekel Israel Tours is hiring a Tour Specialist for a full-time position. The Tour Specialist manages all aspects of an incoming tour, including initial client contact, building a custom itinerary, creating a formal proposal (pricing), creating all bookings and reservations, and managing all day-to-day operations leading up to and during the tour.
\nAbout us: We are a vibrant incoming (primarily US\/Can) tour operator based out of Lod, and we\u2019re looking to expand our team. As a family-style company, we work collaboratively in an environment that encourages everyone to share their unique strengths toward the singular goal of delivering the highest quality client experience possible.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:
\n\u25cf Client communication (phone and email)
\n\u25cf Trip-building (itinerary and proposal)
\n\u25cf Bookings and logistics (accommodations, transportation, guiding services, etc.)
\n\u25cf Trip management (day-to-day)
\n\u25cf Small-scale special event coordination
\n\u25cf Tourism Team support, when needed<\/p>\n
Must-haves:
\n\u25cf Native-level English (speaking, reading, and writing)
\n\u25cf Ability to communicate in Hebrew
\n\u25cf Computer and Internet proficiency and comfort learning new software systems
\n\u25cf Ability to work independently AND as part of a team
\n\u25cf Excellent and clear communication
\n\u25cf Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and multi-tasking
\n\u25cf Comfort working with numbers<\/p>\n
About the position:
\n\u25cf Full-time (40 hours\/week); requires some evening availability
\n\u25cf Based out of Lod
\n\u25cf Reports to Director of Tourism<\/p>\n
