Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Director of Accounting Services is the most senior management role on the team. The Director\u2019s job is to make sure all engagements are progressing on time, to meet with associates and provide guidance, and maintain effective service delivery workflows.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Onboarding new clients
\n\u2022 Assisting with engagements as needed to make sure the service is delivered
\n\u2022 Implement best practices that sets us up for success for today and future
\n\u2022 Effectively communicate with staff and provide training as needed
\n\u2022 Rolling forward workpapers
\n\u2022 Preparing financial reports
\n\u2022 Reviewing and sending monthly financial statements to Accounting Manager for review
\n\u2022 Communicating with clients via email, text, and phone to obtain missing information
\n\u2022 Perform various balance sheet reconciliations, including payroll and benefits, credit cards, pre-paids, and accrued expenses
\n\u2022 Complete external audit requests by analyzing general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors
\n\u2022 Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
\n\u2022 Assist with optimizing accounting processes via the use of automation and other systems
\n\u2022 Assist senior management with the preparation and completion of ad hoc reports
\n\u2022 Other duties as assigned<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Five (5) years of accounting experience
\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal and communication skills
\n\u2022 Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage large amounts of data
\n\u2022 Self-motivated and self-directed
\n\u2022 Must be able to intuit issues and actively address them.
\n\u2022 Ability to learn quickly, self-teach when required, and effectively seek out resources and information as needed.
\n\u2022 Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver training and feedback at all levels of the company and create effective documentation and reference resources.
\n\u2022 Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously<\/p>\n

Preferred:
