Please review the very important information below concerning your Aliyah flight. Many of your questions will be answered below. Continue to monitor this page for updates.

Flight and Airport Information

While this is a very momentous day for you, you will check in as regular passengers. There is no Aliyah processing at your departure airport.

We urge you to check your airline’s website for departure time updates or view updates on the Ben Gurion Airport Flight Board (iaa.gov.il)

Airline recommended check-in time is 4 hours before your flight’s departure.

If you are arriving on a connection, that is arranged by Nefesh B’Nefesh, your luggage is being checked through to  Tel Aviv, therefore, you needn’t arrive more than 2 hours before your flight.

When booking a Nefesh B’Nefesh scheduled flight, at least 2 weeks in advance, an NBN Flight Care Kit will be mailed to your current residence. When arriving at Tel Aviv- Ben Gurion Airport, please wear your lanyard with name tag and Nefesh B’Nefesh hat (when possible) so that you are easily identified by Misrad HaKlita representatives.

If you, for some reason, don’t receive the kit, identify yourself to Misrad HaKlita representatives upon arrival at Ben Gurion.

Exiting United States/ Canada Departure

While we urge you to have your PCR test as early as possible within the 72-hour time-frame, many airports now offer COVID-19 Testing at their airport terminals. Many Olim have found this helpful when the results of their tests have not been received prior to their flights’ check-in.

Nefesh B’Nefesh does not endorse this as a method of obtaining your PCR test however, for your convenience, here are some websites detailing the process of obtaining a test at the airport in case of need.
