STEP-BY-STEP: Process of Home Quarantine

  • Within 72 hours of travel to Israel, you must complete a PCR corona test. The negative results must be presented in order to check in for your flight.
  • Within 24 hours of travel to Israel, fill out the Israel Entry Report. You need to keep the reference number for check-in.
  • Also within 24 hours before arrival, you must fill out the Report self Isolation. MUST BE PRINTED!
  • Prior to leaving the airport, you will complete a PCR test.
    Make sure you receive instructions how to log-in to see your results.
    You do not need to make an appointment in advance, but by doing so the wait will be shorter and there is a discount if ordered online.

  • You must go into Bidud (self isolation) for 14 days.
  • You can end Bidud early or be released from Bidud by following the protocol below relevant to you.
  • You may shorten your Bidud by receiving two negative PCR tests. The first test is performed upon arrival. The second test cannot be performed before your 7th day after arrival and must be at least 24 hours following the first test.
  • You may be able to get tested through your Kupat Cholim (HMO).

  • Upon receiving your second negative results (as presented above) you are officially released from bidud exempting you from the rest of your Bidud.
  • There is no need to wait for an official release notice.

When arriving in Israel, you must go into full Bidud which can be shortened by serological testing.
Bidud can also be shortened by doing a second negative PCR test as seen in the section above,

Serological testing can be used in order to issue a Tav Yarok which is currently necessary in order to enter various tourism, shopping and other establishments.

    • For Olim who recovered from Covid-19 or have received two vaccines (abroad), you are still required to enter Bidud upon arrival.
    • You can get tested for antibodies through a recognized lab. Click here for a list of the laboratories that test for antibodies.
    • Some labs may offer at home testing services.
    • You may be able to get tested through your Kupat Cholim (HMO). Please advise with your family doctor.

  • Positive serology test results can be used in order to issue a Green Pass or vaccination certificate.
  • For assistance issuing a Green Pass be in touch with your family doctor in your Kupat Cholim (HMO).
  • Upon receiving results from your serology test, if they are positive, ie you have antibodies, upload the results to the Ministry of Health in order to update their system.
    Please note: The form only allows to upload one file of supporting documents per request. Make sure to save your results together with your supporting documents (Passport, Teudat Zehut, Vaccination records).

  • Often the site cannot be used for vaccinations or recovery from abroad, in which case you must call Misrad Habriut (Ministry of Health) at *5400
  • Press 1 (for Tav Yarok)
  • They will ask you for your Teudat Zehut (ID number) and date of birth
  • They should have the results in their system. They will ask for your email address and send your Tav Yarok.
