Sol Fayerman-Hansen provides professional services to organizations, multi-national hi-tech companies, start-ups and the like. He facilitates partnerships for the Israeli STEM and Cyber ecosystems, which creates high-impact activities between advanced industries, startups, government, academia, investors, among others. Sol is also a public speaker on STEM education, cyber education and national initiatives.
Senior Partner at Livnat Mayer & Co
Russell Mayer specializes in real estate transactions, employment/labor law, international corporate and commercial matters, banking and insurance regulation, joint ventures, finance and trade. He has acquired extensive legal and business experience assisting high-tech companies in all phases from incorporation through seed funding and eventually to exit. Mr. Mayer has represented leading international banking institutions and insurance companies in their licensing and regulatory matters. In addition, his experience in the corporate sector and embassy representation has made him well versed in labor law and its various nuances as they impact both domestic and foreign companies in Israel. Russell is in the process of developing the firm’s nanotechnology practice area. Finally, he regularly advises a number of foreign embassies and governments with respect to local Israeli law.
Born in New York, Russell received his J.D. degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University in 1981. Before Mr. Mayer moved to Israel in 1990, he served as in-house counsel for major money center commercial banks for over eight years where he specialized in corporate finance, bank regulatory matters and bankruptcy/workouts. Upon his move to Israel, from 1990-1998, he served as an Advocate/Associate at a large law firm in Tel Aviv, where he specialized in corporate matters, international transactions, real estate, banking, labor law and litigation matters. In 1998, he founded his own law firm.

Jeremy Siegman has vast experience leading strategic processes for a variety of clients. His work has been focused on formulating new growth engines for companies, including global expansion, identifying new verticals and defining innovative business models. Jeremy has also aided small and large companies alike in defining their business plans, developing go-to-market strategies and preparing investor presentations. Additionally, Jeremy has conducted extensive research on the role startups are playing within “Industry 4.0” and published a report on the ways in which Israeli startups are contributing to this industrial transformation.
Prior to his work at Deloitte, Jeremy worked for an online educational platform, developing examinations and study materials to help customers prepare for pre-employment tests.
Jeremy holds a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Bar Ilan University. He made Aliyah in 2008 from Chicago and currently resides in Modiin with his wife and two daughters.

Fred Kahn leads, builds and sets the direction of Philip Stein & Associates, ensuring the delivery of quality cutting-edge solutions to its clients. He has been working in public accounting since 2002 when he started his career in the financial services division of Ernst & Young LLP in New York specializing in Hedge funds.
Fred moved to Israel with his family in September 2005. Since then he has been working very closely with venture capital funds, high tech corporations and high net worth individuals. He has expertise consulting in many areas of US tax law including estate and gift planning, voluntary disclosures and both foreign and domestic trusts. He joined Philip Stein and Associates in 2013.
Fred is a graduate of Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business and a NY state certified accountant.

Terms and Conditions
- Seed money will be awarded to top finalists at the discretion of Nefesh B’Nefesh
- Previous recipients of the Nefesh B’Nefesh Blumenthal Awards are eligible to participate in the program, but will not receive seed money
- To be eligible to receive seed money, you must attend all six sessions of the bootcamp, unless otherwise indicated in writing by Nefesh B’Nefesh Director of Go Beyond-South
- Registration does not guarantee acceptance to the bootcamp
- All those accepted into the bootcamp will be encouraged to “pay it forward,” and assist and offer mentoring sessions to Nefesh B’Nefesh Olim
