We’ll discover the Russian Compound and Notre Dame, continue through the French Compound, and explore the Church of the Holy Trinity, the historic hospital and Sergei’s Courtyard.\nOur journey continues to the distinctive Ethiopian and Italian Compounds, each revealing another layer of Jerusalem’s diverse history, architecture and communities.\nWe’ll then enjoy free time for lunch at the colourful and bustling Mahane Yehuda Market, before finishing the day with a guided English tour of the National Library of Israel, an impressive home to the stories, treasures and cultural heritage of Israel and the Jewish people.\nA fascinating day combining Jerusalem’s history, hidden corners and one of Israel’s most important cultural institutions.\nPick-Ups:\n7am – Herzliya Train Station\n7:30am – Savidor Train Station, Tel Aviv\nParking is available near Herzliya and Savidor train stations.\nPlease bring a sandwich for the morning break, water and comfortable walking shoes.
