DESCRIPTION:Step beneath the surface and discover thousands of years of history on a fascinating day out in the Judean Lowlands.\nJoin us for a full-day guided trip combining archaeology, nature, spectacular underground landscapes and Israeli creativity.\nOur day begins at Beit Guvrin–Maresha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its extraordinary network of caves and archaeological remains. Explore the ancient Maresha settlement, discover olive presses and columbaria, visit the beautifully decorated Sidonian Burial Caves and step inside the enormous Bell Caves carved deep into the soft chalk.\nWe’ll continue through the remains of the Roman amphitheatre and Crusader fortress, before stopping for a relaxed picnic lunch surrounded by the scenery of Britannia Park.\nThe afternoon includes a short visit to Horvat Midras, followed by something completely different – a visit to Kakadu Gallery in Tsafririm.
