many, if not all, Olim, Post-Aliyah challenges center on one area-
integration. Integration into new Israeli communities, integration
into the Israeli work culture, integration for children into the
Israeli school system- in short, integration into the fabric of
Israeli society.

and Community Resources
Do? Guidance
and Information The NBN Department of Guidance
and Community Resources is available by telephone, email and
in person to provide guidance and information regarding education,
mental health and social/community issues for new olim and

Seminars Held monthly at our Jerusalem Aliyah Center, and
quarterly around the country, these seminars focus in on specific
aspects of the Aliyah process Olim may be struggling with
and offer tips and advice from experts in their fields. Please

Buddy
Program We will pair you up with someone
who has successfully gone through the Aliyah process. These
individuals and families will be there for you as you begin
your own process, helping you with everything from meals upon
your arrival to letting you know where the best dry cleaners
in town are.you

Tiyulim
and Social Events – These periodic events
enable our Olim to both see the country and connect with each
other. In addition, we have a full slate of events specifically
geared to our Single Olim and their special integration needs.

Assistance for Retirees Planning Aliyah– Olim who plan to enjoy their retirement years in Israel come with a variety of special interests, needs and questions. Nefesh B'Nefesh works together with the Association of Americans & Canadians in Israel (AACI) to assist retirees in all phases of their Aliyah planning. Support
for Parents Left Behind – One major area of struggle for many Olim is in their relationship with their parents. NBN Social Service Department staff members are available to support parents through this process. In addition, we recommend that parents connect with PNAI – the Parents of North American Olim Support Group (www.pnai.org). For more information pleaseclick here.

Project Kesharim: Connecting Olim to Olim on Shabbat & Chagim Through this new and exciting program, Olim can now find places to spend Shabbat and Chagim – all over the country! It is an incredible opportunity for Olim to make connections in Israel, or to just have a new and fun experience away from home. To participate, as a host or guest, please email NBN at kesharim@nbn.org.il.
