Aliyah Shlichim represent the Jewish Agency of Israel. This is the sole legal entity outside of Israel that can approve an individual to make aliyah under Israel's Law of Return. Upon receiving approval from an Aliyah Shaliach, the applicant is referred to the nearest Israeli Consulate in order to have an Aliyah visa stamped into their passport.

The Aliyah Shaliach will open an aliyah file - TIK ALIYAH, when the necessary paperwork is submitted.

Print the forms, and fill out as much of the paperwork as possible. Call to make an appointment with an Aliyah Shaliach. If you are Israeli, have Israeli parents or made aliyah in the past, you may be required to present additional documents.

Ask the Aliyah Shaliach for a TIK number, and include it in your Nefesh B'Nefesh application.
