(IsraelNN.com) Nefesh B’Nefesh, an
organization dedicated to revitalizing North American Aliyah
(immigration to Israel) in conjunction with the Jewish Agency
for Israel, held a breakthrough meeting this week with
representatives of various government and non-profit
organizations devoted to Aliyah. For the first time in
Israel’s bureaucratic history, representatives of the Jewish
Agency for Israel, the Interior Ministry, the Education
Ministry, the Absorption Ministry, Bituah Leumi, Kupot Cholim
and other Aliyah organizations gathered under one roof to
better the cooperation amongst them regarding Aliyah.

Nefesh B’Nefesh

details as having created the “ideal formula” for
promoting Aliyah and absorbing the new olim (immigrants) into
Israeli society. As she opened the event held in the
organization’s Jerusalem office, MK Avital “welcomed the
creation of the forum and called for cooperation and
efficiency of all the involved bodies.” She continued to
praise the work of Nefesh B’Nefesh, which is responsible for
bringing close to 4,000 olim from North America to Israel over
the past three and a half years.
