Last NBN Flight This Summer
22:22 Sep 05, '05 / 1 Elul 5765

(IsraelNN.com) This summer’s last Nefesh B’Nefesh aliyah flight is scheduled to touch down in Ben-Gurion International Airport on Wednesday, September 7th.

One of the new immigrants arriving home on the flight will be Tuvia Grossman - who was dragged out of a cab in eastern Jerusalem and nearly beaten to death by a crowd of Arabs at the beginning of the Oslo War in September 2000. the attack occurred on the day after then opposition leader Ariel Sharon entered the Temple Mount area.

Despite the serious trauma Tuvia experienced, he has recovered and is currently in the process of taking the Israeli (law) bar exam and is a true example of survival and determination.

Tuvia was born in Chicago and studied and resided in New York for many years prior to his planned aliyah.
