Recognition of High School Diplomas

Most Olim do not need to have their high school diplomas recognized, but there are some situations where this step is necessary. For example, universities may demand recognition of high school diplomas as part of the application process.

To have your diploma recognized, you will need the following documentation:

• Copy of your transcripts for grades 9 through 12, translated and notarized (with a red ribbon).
• Copy of your diploma(s), translated and notarized (with a red ribbon).
• Photocopy of your Teudat Zehut.
• Photocopy of your Teudat Oleh.

You should receive a response 2 to 3 weeks after Misrad Hachinuch obtains your request.
