Technological Incubators
There are many technological incubators throughout Israel which provide seed money for scientists and engineers interested in developing products in the hi-tech, biotech or environmental spheres. For a listing of technological incubators, see: http://www.science.co.il/Technology-Incubators.asp.
If your focus is the environmental sector, seed money and support services are available through the GreenTech division of the Mofet B'Yehuda Technological and Business Incubator. The organization has a program, Hamra'ah, designated specifically for Olim who are scientists and engineers. Hamra'ah offers Olim the financial investment and R&D facilities for a two-year period to develop a prototype for their new technology and to actualize their research into a successful start-up company. The incubator fosters development of environmental startups by facilitating and supporting entrepreneurs from conception to fruition on the world market. For more information about Hamra'ah, contact Lisa Samin at saminpr@netvision.net.il or see www.greentech.co.il.
