Winner to Fly to Israel On Plane

BabagaNewz.com and Nefesh B’Nefesh are proud to announce the winner of the grand prize in the Destination Israel Contest, Esther Bellinsky, a sixth-grader at the Lubavitch Cheder Day School in St. Paul, Minnesota. The contest encouraged students in Grades 4 – 7 to create a logo for one of Nefesh B’Nefesh’s summer Aliyah planes for a chance to fly on a Nefesh B’Nefesh Aliyah flight to Israel sporting their logo.
As the grand prize winner, Esther will receive roundtrip airfare and accommodation for two to Israel this summer. She will get to experience the emotion and excitement as scores of Olim realize their Aliyah dream aboard a Nefesh B’Nefesh chartered Aliyah flight bearing her winning logo. Her logo can be seen on the Babaganewz website (BabagaNewz.com) or at www.nbn.org.il/contest, together with the submissions of the runners up, who received a BabagaNewz.com gift-pack.    

BabagaNewz.com, an educational website for Jewish middle-schoolers and teachers, teamed up with Nefesh B’Nefesh, the organization that is revitalizing Aliyah (immigration to Israel) from North America and the United Kingdom, to run the contest from December 17th, 2008, to February 5th, 2009.
