Eligibility for Financial Assistance: Applicants for financial assistance must be citizens of either the United States or Canada. Financial assistance is awarded to individuals or families based on financial need. Applicants that are assessed to have sufficient funds for Aliyah will not be awarded financial assistance. Applicants must currently reside in the United States or Canada. Individuals who are residing in Israel on either tourist, A1A, or student visas are eligible for financial assistance.. Applicants will be approved for financial assistance only after being approved for Aliyah by the Jewish Agency. Both singles and families are eligible for financial assistance. Applicant must have had prior experience in Israel (preferably a pilot trip within two years of Aliyah). All information provided to NBN will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
