Nefesh B'Nefesh is thrilled to offer you Aliyah flights that include expedited government processing (in-flight), and the experience of making Aliyah together with other Olim. In addition, we have made arrangements with US Air and EL AL for individual flight options for those who cannot join one of our group or charter flights.

The following are your options.

Nefesh B'Nefesh Charter Flights: Specially commissioned EL AL Aliyah flights, in which the entire plane is reserved for Nefesh B'Nefesh Olim. Each flight arrival is followed by an official welcome ceremony at the airport, attended by dignitaries and hundreds of guests. The Aliyah processing for your new Teudat Zehut (Israeli ID card) and Teudat Oleh (Oleh Certificate) takes place during the flight. Nefesh B'Nefesh approval and Jewish Agency Aliyah approval are required before participation can be confirmed. Charter flights will only be offered in July and August. 

Nefesh B'Nefesh Group Flights: Regularly scheduled EL AL flights with a reserved block of seats for Nefesh B'Nefesh Olim. There is no ceremony at the airport, though a Teudat Zehut Distribution is held at the Nefesh B'Nefesh offices a few business days after flight arrival. The Aliyah processing for your new Teudat Zehut and Teudat Oleh takes place during the flight. Nefesh B'Nefesh approval and Jewish Agency Aliyah approval are required before participation can be confirmed.

There will not be a group flight in January. Summer flight dates will be announced around Pesach time. Charter flights will only be offered in July and August.

US Airways Individual Flights: You have the option to fly independently of Nefesh B'Nefesh on US Airways from Philadelphia. If you need to connect to Philadelphia, the cost of your connecting flight is covered as well, so long as you are departing from a city that has connecting flights to Philadelphia. Please refer to US Airway's route map to determine whether your city has connecting flights to Philadelphia. Jewish Agency Aliyah approval, including receipt of a valid Aliyah visa where applicable, is required before you can book with US Airways. Please note that Aliyah paperwork is not processed for those travelling via US Airways, and there is no arrival ceremony. In addition, those travelling with pets may not fly via US Airways.

EL AL Individual Flights: You also have the option to fly independently of Nefesh B'Nefesh on EL AL from New York and Toronto. Jewish Agency Aliyah approval, including receipt of a valid Aliyah visa where applicable, is required before you can book with EL AL. Please note that Aliyah paperwork is not processed for those travelling via EL AL individually, and there is no arrival ceremony.

Please note that for those connecting to an EL AL flight (whether an NBN group or charter flight, or an individual flight), it is your responsibility to book your connecting flight and cover all associated costs.

Disclaimer: These flight options are only available for those individuals who are awarded a free Aliyah flight by the Jewish Agency, as a part of their Aliyah approval. You must arrange your Aliyah flight via Nefesh B'Nefesh in order to receive a free Aliyah flight; reimbursement for a flight booked on your own is not possible via NBN. Your selection of a flight preference is not confirmation that you have a seat reserved on any of the flights. Once you submit your flight preferences and have the necessary approvals and documentation, we will work towards booking your Aliyah flight. We will do our best to accommodate your first flight preference, however, we cannot guarantee that all Olim will receive their first choice. Nefesh B'Nefesh has the right to withdraw any of these flight options at any time; should that occur, NBN would assist you in making alternate flight arrangements. Depending on the time of year in which you make Aliyah, not all of the options noted above may be available.
