|The central goal of Kol Hadassa is to guide the girls towards achieving an accredited high school diploma via the Penn Foster program. The staff works with the students in both individual and group settings. Once the girls have earned their diploma, they prepare for the psychometric exam that will enable them to apply to Israeli higher education programs. For more information on the Penn Foster program:http://www.pennfoster.edu/diploma/. |
Judaic studies are an integral part of the school program. Students are given opportunities for asking questions, while providing a structure to improve textual skills. They are encouraged to explore their Yiddishkeit both in school and in extra-curricular activities including: drama, health, Rosh Hodesh programs and art.
The program can take 1-3 years to complete.
The school week runs from Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 – 16:30.
Most of the students live in RBS/Bet Shemesh. A few students are boarding in the neighborhood.
