Arbel (1-6), Nazeret Illit

Arbel
Arbel, which is located in the northern section of the city, is one of the first schools founded in Nazeret Illit. The small student body is comprised mainly of immigrants from the FSU, second generation FSU immigrants, Ethiopian immigrants, and Israeli born veteran city residents.

The school provides a dual curriculum of general and Judaic studies, for families wishing to place an emphasis on the Jewish tradition. There are programs before each holiday, to which the parents are invited.

Arbel has a special program pairing the fifth grade students with the neighboring religious kindergarten, in weekly chevruta studies. They continue a second year, as sixth grade students mentoring the first grade students.

The Arbel school participates in a citywide program promoting tolerance and respect.
