OBTAINING APPROVAL & REQUESTING A FLIGHT

Once you have been approved for the Jewish Agency Aliyah Flight Benefit, Nefesh B’Nefesh will invite you to request your flight through an easy flight request webform. After submitting your preferred flight,  your request will be processed – pending availability and submission of required documentation.  Only an email notification from the Nefesh B’Nefesh flights department stating you have been booked is confirmation you have seats on the flight. There is limited availability on all flights.

ALIYAH VISA

A valid Aliyah visa is required to book your ticket (unless you hold an Israeli Passport) or have enough time to receive your visa.   Contact your Jewish Agency Shaliach for instructions on applying for the visa. It can take 2 weeks or more for the visa to be issued depending on the time of year and where you live. We recommend applying 1-2 months before your estimated departure.

TICKET PROCESSING FEE

Pay the $70.00 ticket processing fee per person utilizing the Aliyah Flight Benefit.

ISRAEL ARRIVAL ADDRESS

In order for your ticket to be issued an Israel arrival address, that is not a hotel or hostel, is required. Generally this is where you are going from the airport. If you use the Aliyah Transportation benefit your ride will be arranged from Ben Gurion Airport to this address. Note: The mode of transportation may be shared with other Olim.

DON’T DELAY

Work on obtaining Jewish Agency approval and then request your Aliyah flight as soon as possible, in order to have more flight options, especially during peak travel times. As corona virus restrictions are eased, we expect Israel to be a prime vacation destination which will severely impact the number of open seats.

DISCLAIMER: Aliyah flights must be arranged via Nefesh B’Nefesh in order to utilize the Aliyah Flight Benefit. Once you submit your flight preferences and have the necessary approvals and documentation, we will assist you with booking your Aliyah flight. We will do our best to accommodate your first flight preference; however, we cannot guarantee that all Olim will receive their first choice. Nefesh B’Nefesh has the right to withdraw any of these flight options at any time. Should that occur, NBN will assist you in making alternate flight arrangements. Depending on the time of year in which you make Aliyah, not all of the flight options may be available. Booking requirements are subject to change. If you cancel your reservation or change your flight fees may apply.
