On February 11th, 2016, in Tel Aviv, over 1500 lone soldiers from all over the world were able to take care of many crucial bureaucratic needs such as driver’s license conversion, changes of address, higher education and career guidance, as well as Aliyah services.
Representatives from agencies such as the Ministry of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption, the Ministry of Economy (Israel), the Ministry of Housing, the Automobile License Authority, and the Israel Tax Authority were on hand to help.
The event was organized by the Nefesh B’Nefesh–Friends of the IDF (FIDF) Lone Soldiers Program תוכנית חיילים בודדים עולים, in cooperation with the IDF Human Resources Department, the Ministry of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption, the Ministry of Interior, Jewish Agency for Israel, Keren Kayemeth, and Jewish National Fund – JNF.
