Ronen Fuxman
Ronen FuxmanGovernment Advocacy Advisor

Meet Ronen Fuxman, Nefesh B’Nefesh Government Advocacy Advisor, husband to Noa and father of 4 boys. Ronen is a native Israeli, born and raised in a small Moshav in the Golan Heights in Northern Israel and now lives in the heart of Jerusalem with his family.

As a member of the Government Advocacy Department, Ronen’s job is to advocate on behalf of Olim with all Israeli government offices and to help them navigate the bureaucratic side of Aliyah.

“My favorite part of my job is fixing problems behind the scenes. I love that NBN is so well connected that I can pick up the phone to the right person and help solve a problem for an Oleh quickly and efficiently.”

In addition to making problems disappear, Ronen acts as the liaison for medical professionals who are looking for help and guidance in obtaining and transferring their medical licenses to Israel. He is also one of the driving forces behind the Medical Seminar that will be taking place at the Mega Event in New York City on March 11, 2018.

“Medical professionals are being offered an incredible opportunity at the Mega Medical Seminar. They will be given all of the information they need to transfer their licenses, they will be able to network with other medical professionals and will even have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a representative from the Israeli Ministry of Health to jumpstart the license conversion process!”

Ronen’s advice to future Medical professional Olim is to carefully read the information available and to recognize that it may be a lot, but it is all important! “Be organized and start the process of converting your medical license at least 6 months before your Aliyah.”
