Israel's Economic Stimulus Package

Many of the early waves of immigrants to Israel consisted of Jews fleeing their home countries to a nascent State that struggled and sacrificed to absorb them. Yet the fledgling nation saw a moral imperative and fundamental Zionistic duty in assisting and integrating these impoverished refugees. In time, those refugees and their offspring became the backbone of the nation.

‘Joy of Aliyah’ cinematheque premiere!

The Aliyah documentary ‘Joy of Aliyah’, shown in bi-weekly youtube segments last year, has been made into a single movie, which premiered on Chanukah at the Jerusalem Cinematheque. The  exciting and emotional journey of famed kosher chef Jamie Geller and her family is brought to life in this behind the scenes look at their Aliyah, co-produced by Jamie herself, and Nefesh B’Nefesh.

More than 100 Lone Soldier Olim from all over the world gathered in Tel Aviv to celebrate the 6th night of Chanukah with 2012 Tennis Paralympics Gold Medal Winner Noam Gershoni. The Lone Soldiers enjoyed hearing the incredibly inspiring story of Noam Gershoni, while celebrating Chanukah with traditional sufganiyot, latkes, drinks, music and candle lighting.
